HBO is yet again delivering on a show that has my full attention. It is not often that HBO misses and I do not think they will with this one either. 30 Coins is a new original series created by Álex de la Iglesia, who is described as a spanish cult director. He has been in the game for a while and this project has the looks of something special. The psychological, religious themed thriller looks visually stunning and well produced. You can expect action, suspense, monsters, supernatural villains and all the above.

The reviews seem to be somewhat mixed but at the very least, it should be a spectacle worth your time. The first two episodes are live on HBO Max so check them out when you get a chance. Here is the official trailer to hold you down in the meantime. Thanks for reading and be nice to each other.
