Escape Brewing Company: 4 out of 5
The night after Thanksgiving my parents joined my wife Kate and I for some pizza and beers at the Escape Brewing Company in Trinity, FL. Upon entering I evaluated it to make sure it passed the Crafthouse Triad, my patent pending test to determine if a brewery or any establishment for that matter is “hipster” enough; it must have at least one brick wall, an exposed air-vent in the ceiling, and Edison lights. It passed with flying colors and to top it off Neil Young’s “Old Man” was playing so I immediately felt at home.
We started with 2 IPAs called The Other West Coast and Scandalous. Next we moved on to a flight which included; Brown Chicken Brown Cow, Goofy Footed Wheat Ale, High Fen Four Roses Barrel Imperial Porter, and 880 Red Ale. My personal favorite was the Brown Chicken Brown Cow, a smooth, dark, delicious brown ale. For my full reviews and rankings make sure to check out my untappd profile.
Overall, it was a great little spot. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was warm, and the beer was tasty. If you are ever near Trinity, FL I highly recommend you give it a try.
